Assist the marketing team in executing any marketing project and program. Help with med review process of approving marketing materials. Plan patient and HCP events as needed. Work with all the sales force on adhoc requests.


Position description:

The Marketing Coordinator works on the planning and implementation of projects that support the Marketing Function. Interacts directly with product managers and market development managers to support marketing opportunities, prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions from the sales organization as needed. Able to work individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling, planning projects, estimating costs; and managing projects to completion. Responsibilities may also include: data analysis for business reviews, coordinating trade show activities, website development, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.

Position responsibilities:

• Assist with Marketing needs in creating business reviews via MS excel
• Assist with Sales/Field mail-outs: envelope creation/stuffing, mailing, follow-up, coverall letters, organization and managing project timelines
• Collateral metrics tracking and analysis
• Tradeshow logistics: planning and execution, interface into Marcoms
• Support of VIP visits and other Sales Events: logistics planning and execution, interface to Ortho Sector team members and Marcoms
• Research at various levels depending on experience: malpractice/insurance survey, tracking competitors’ websites for new announcements, summarizing latest industry white papers
• Internet and Intranet: content creation, on-line management
• Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable. Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work.

Basic qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree
• 1-3 years experience in Marketing Field

Desired/Preferred Qualifications (optional):
• Prior experience in the pharma or medical device field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment and work efficiently without significant supervision.
• Strategic thinking skills
• Strong computer and computer application skills essential. (Knowledge of Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)
• Strong aptitude for learning technical product line and working in complex, fast-paced environment
• Natural ability to work with people at various levels and diverse backgrounds
• Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable. Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work.
