Job Description
Technical Project Manager Responsibilities
Key areas of support:
• The project manager for this workstream will report in regularly to the program manager for the NEXTGEN PMO and Volume 2 workstream and will support the following:
o Update the charter for the workstream for 2017
o Portfolio assessment and management – review, prioritize and manage CDISC submission needs from 2017-2019
? Portfolio assessment will assist with prioritization and/or finalization of SDTM specification work
• Consider prioritization of standards for enterprise specification work and study conversion needs based on submission schedule
• Consider prioritization of standards enterprise specification based on new study starts (=First subject first visit) after July 1, 2016 in CDISC
• Support study conversion –prioritize standards for development based on submission schedule and reporting requirements
• CDARS ( CDISC/CaPS implementation – programming development and implementation plan based on priorities noted above
o Work closely with the SGS Project Manager (Statistical Guidance Standards) and with Programming standards group to prioritize the development of end points definition to support priority reporting
o Work directly with project teams to confirm project deliverables and timelines
o Create and maintain a Project Plan based on reporting priorities
o Communicate priorities to the CDISC PMO workstreams to align priorities
o Weekly QUAD report updates to program manager as part of PMO deliverables
o Escalation of any workstream issues to the PMO program manager.

PM Role requirements:
o PMBOK/PMP certified
o 5+ years of experience deploying IT/BT projects within the Pharma industry

Minimum education experience required:
o Strong PM skills (PNBOK/PMP certified or equivalent)
o Pharmaceutical Experience
o Understanding of standards management or CDISC knowledge desirable
o Participation in project teams and coordinating large project tasks and activities
o Hands-on Project Management
